New Moms is grateful to the Service Club of Chicago for granting us a wax melting machine for our social enterprise candle company, Bright Endeavors. This machine has helped us to be more efficient, freeing up staff time to coach young moms toward their employment goals. It has been especially helpful during COVID-19, as we have shifted our program’s schedule—this machine ensures that we always have wax ready to go, so we are able to meet our production goals and help more young moms to obtain permanent employment.
