Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center works to unite public, private and community partners to ensure the safety, health and well-being of abused children. Each year, we provide crisis intervention, advocacy, forensic interviews, and long-term mental health services for more than 2,000 children and families impacted by sexual abuse in the City of Chicago. To ensure children receive the help they need quickly, Chicago CAC provides transportation to and from the Center for most of our families. Our grant from the Service Club of Chicago allowed us to replace a 15-year-old van, ensuring our families receive safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation, while also reducing our yearly vehicle operating costs. Through its grant, the Service Club has had a tremendous impact on our organization and the children we serve every day!
