We are honored to have as our special guest speaker Jessica Ann Pushor, the Collection Manager of the Costume and Textile Collection at the Chicago History Museum. Jessica will highlight women’s hats from the 1870’s-1950’s, starting with the establishment of Paris millinery in the late 1800’s, all the way through the Chicago hat experience. Designers of note from the CHM collection: Paul Poiret, Halston, Charles James, Dior, Bes-Ben/Benjamin Greenfield and Balenciaga. You’ll be enthralled with her tour of hat history and the rules of etiquette on hats and hat making.
