Our Junior Board
About Us
The Service Club of Chicago’s Junior Board is an auxiliary group of The Service Club designed by and composed of young professional women. Its members share a passion for philanthropic work.
Their main mission is to help support The Service Club of Chicago’s Philanthropic Fund. The Junior Board also works to increase awareness to the public-at-large about The Service Club and its mission. In addition, they engage and cultivate the next generation of members and leaders of The Service Club of Chicago.
This is achieved by hosting various fundraising and stewardship events, actively recruiting members, and spreading SCC’s message through various avenues. The Junior Board also collaborates with the leadership of The Service Club of Chicago.
The SCC Junior Board represents a broad cross-section of Chicago’s civic, corporate and philanthropic women. They currently invite young professional women ages 21-35 to apply. Applications are reviewed three times per year in January, April, and October. If you are interested in learning more about the application and interview process, please contact the Junior Board at [email protected]
