Have Dreams

Have Dreams

Have Dreams is grateful to the Service Club of Chicago for the generous grant awarded to our organization serving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Technology devices are effective tools for individuals with ASD because they deliver information visually, the manner in which individuals with autism best learn and process information.

The iPads, MacBook, Dell Laptops, and Projectors have benefited our child, teen and adult participants by helping them learn, socialize, increase independent functioning, create personal portfolios and conduct job searches, and serve as a communication aide for non-verbal participants. Our staff is better equipped to prepare and deliver educational and support materials, create customized schedules for participants, adapt activities, and provide professionals with training in best-practice autism intervention methods.
